Thinking of Jordan Today

He has an audition in Hollywood at 2:15. This is a bunch of producers looking for a few new artists to form a working band, is financially backed, and there is one slot for a male vocalist. Jordan got into the audition from a fellow musician friend. Basically, he got a call from him saying "you have an audition".

Jordan asks for prayer - not that he would "get" anything from it, but that he will perform well and that God will be glorified. He wants to shake hands and look in the eye of Barry Squire, a producer whose clients include Gwen Stefani and Mariah Carey.
He hopes to get on the list - of someone these producers can call when they need singers.

Could be the start of something, could be just a fun day. He will be singing two songs.

I admire him for never taking advantage of his musical talent, but working to be the best that he can.

Keep him in your prayers please.

Dancing!

We are really into it. The Hustle, East Coast Swing, and Nightclub Two Step. We have lessons once a week, and practice once a week as well - plus any dance parties that our school has we try to go to. We hope to be able to dance super cooly on our cruise to Alaska! We want to BLOW our kids away with our skilz!

THIS is a 16 second clip of our dance instructor at a demo -

Last night for the first time both hubby and I felt like we could really dance without having to think of the moves, even though both of us forgot our dance shoes. Shoes are important!

So some day, maybe you will see Us on Dancing With The Stars....highly doubtful, but who knows.

Happy Birthday Jason!

I am so thankful God brought you into this world. You only get angry when you are woken up or when you are hungry. You have a sweet, gentle spirit - but are ferociously passionate about the truth.

God bless you today and always!

This picture is the day before you took your first breath:

You were definately born in to a large extended Filipino family in Hawaii. We ALL lived in the same house!

When you slept you cuddled all up like a football. I think you still sleep like this.

Nothing like being a Maui baby!

Pink Vespa

Well, I saw the cutest Pink Vespa in a mall and sat on it and loved it. My husband will not allow me to get one - he thinks that I will kill myself on it. I cannot believe it. People all over Italy ride them!

I know I could be safe going to work each morning. I know, without a doubt, that I could talk on my cell phone to my mom, drink my yummy coffee from my automatic espresso machine, as well as maneuver through traffic each morning on my way to work. I have always been and always will be a multi tasker. In fact, I can have several conversations with myself all at once.

So, in submission to my loving husband, I will become a spokesperson for Vespa instead of riding one. I will advertise for them in billboards all over the world - whether or not the Vespa company is aware of it.

Update on Earl....

Today from Susie:

Earl had a blood transfusion of 2 liters throughout the night. This is to regulate his red blood cell count.
He still has rapid, shallow breathing and continues on oxygen.

Keep praying - AND he is walking one mile in the halls in the meanwhile....puts me to shame.

My Brother

THANK YOU for praying! Earl had the same team of doctors at the same hospital one week after Barbara Bush did! He is in a lot of pain, but is up and walking, and hoping to be leaping soon.

The surgery went as well as can be. The xrays look perfect. Medicine has come a long way! Susie sent a Youtube of the exact same surgery if you would like to watch it.

Earl is very happy that the Lord is keeping him here on earth to share the gospel some more. The sad thing (for him) is that he will not be allowed to go to Iraq as he had planned. Please pray for his reassignment, that he will be able to minister to the most soldiers in the most effective way.

Please Pray for Earl

My dear brother is having a heart valve replacement surgery tomorrow in Texas. Please pray for the doctors and all involved with the surgery. Pray for Susie to be comforted with the love of Jesus. Thank God with me as I know they trust the Lord with all their being.

Reach for the Stars!

Haha - when I was teaching music at North Seattle Christian School, they had an auction with the theme "Reach for the Stars" - well I was dying to be able to wear this beautiful fur stole I got at a thrift store - so I seized the moment and went for it! HAHAH They really did mean stars as in celestial things....but that didn't fit my fur ;)
