Thinking of Jordan Today

He has an audition in Hollywood at 2:15. This is a bunch of producers looking for a few new artists to form a working band, is financially backed, and there is one slot for a male vocalist. Jordan got into the audition from a fellow musician friend. Basically, he got a call from him saying "you have an audition".

Jordan asks for prayer - not that he would "get" anything from it, but that he will perform well and that God will be glorified. He wants to shake hands and look in the eye of Barry Squire, a producer whose clients include Gwen Stefani and Mariah Carey.
He hopes to get on the list - of someone these producers can call when they need singers.

Could be the start of something, could be just a fun day. He will be singing two songs.

I admire him for never taking advantage of his musical talent, but working to be the best that he can.

Keep him in your prayers please.

Jordan was blown away at the level of musicianshihp and professionalism he found today. Each band was made up of guys auditioning who never played together before.

Jordan said they got up and just began the song - no sound check, no warm up, so rehearsing. He said they sounded AWESOME.

The man he really wanted to connect with, Barry Squire, came straight up to him after he sang, and said "you sang this song the best today" and asked for his contact information.

Needless to say, Jordan was pumped. He wanted to get on this man's "list" - and he succeeded!

He is thanking God for all of this and leaving the future in His hands.

Thanks to everyone who prayed.
