Houston, We Have A Stride

In tennis shoes and T shirt, Earl is convinced he is going home tomorrow - EVEN THOUGH they found blood in his last 2 stools, which could indicate internal bleeding. They are calling in a GI doctor.

Earl now walks a mile before each meal (click below for video)

Yep that is dad, that is his unmistakable gate and spry peacock prance. He taught me every thing I needed to know about strutting stool dancing (it worked on Mom for him and Maki for me).

Hi JoAnn
As I'm reading your updates (thank you very much), I kept recalling a song that might be encouragement to the three of you; Day by Day, and with each passing moment.

Day by day, and with each passing moment, strength I find to meet my trials here; trusting in my Father's wise bestowment, I've no cause for worry or for fear. He whose heart is kind beyond all measure gives unto each day as He deems best- lovingly, it's part of pain and pleasure, mingling toil with peace and rest.

Everyday the Lord himself is near me with a special mercy for each hour; all my cares He fain would bear, and cheer me, He whose name is Counselor and Pow'r.The protection of his child and treasure is a charge that on himself he laid;"As your days, your strength shall be in measure,"this the pledge to me he made.

Help me then in every tribulation so to trust your promises , O Lord, that I lose not faith's sweet consolation offered me within your holy Word. Help me Lord, when toil and trouble meeting, e'er to take as from a father's hand, one by one, the days, the moments fleeting, till I reach the promised land.

Please pass along our best to Earl and Susie and let them know we're praying for them. Their testimony and faith through these events as seen in your videos are an encouragement to all of us. Thank You!

Thank you so much for the update! I just finished watching the video clips on the blog! Very interesting and funny too at times. This blog is a wonderful way to share this experience with everyone. I had no idea that blogs could do this! I guess I'm not very computer savvy. Thanks again and we are praying that he & Susie can return home tomorrow!

God Bless,

Mary
