Houston, We Have A Funny

While Earl got a transfusion, I went and donated platelets for him, and got a free t shirt, bag, and ball!

After his transfusion, he felt better and wanted to sit in the chair, while Susie took to the bed, giving the doctor a moment of confusion.

As we were discussing discharge ~ Earl said "I think I'll go home on Wednesday." Susie is in favor of waiting longer, and made reference to the failure of the first surgery. Earl said "What do you mean it wasn't a success? I lived one whole month!" (click below for video)

In spite of severe pain to his sternum, we love to see him laugh! (click below for video)

Oh man. That made me laugh. It was painfully funny! Ethan thought it was just mean. ;-)

You look good Earl...what a journey! Del figures you can't beat him at golf for awhile...and wants to go play before you completely heal. :) How great that your loving wife and funny sister are there to dote on you and keep you company. Got red toenails? We send our love...and prayers that your new valve 'seats' just right.
LOVE YOU, June and Del

Makes my stomach hurt just watching you all laugh! Amazing what our bodies can do in such a short amount of time. Earl - have never met you but you are truly an inspiration in so many ways. Suzie - think you must be an angel and Joanne - well you are wonderful for sharing such precious days with all of us. Thank you. Sheila Hanson
