I gotta admit, I got a little discouraged this morning. First thing we did at hospital is pick up the wayward valve, while still waiting for culture result.
Earl's lunch came. Lo and behold! Look at that bread!
In the 9 days awaiting culture results, the
Culture War is decided - the bread won! (the hospital sent several people to apologize for such a thing in Earls lunch)
For this news - we rejoice! They are fairly certain that there was no bacteria on the old valve.

Praying, praying, praying. Wow the bread...
Hi JoAnn - I'm confused...were they actually serving that bread for lunch?! I'm praying for all of you - even though I don't even know you (Earl and Susie) - isn't the family of God amazing!? Wishing you well! L Vander Wel
Susie,
The Lord shows his sense of humor when we least expect it and just in time. He is saying petrey dish; bah, watch this: real growth. You know we are praying as mightily as we can. With so many prayers; we'll never know who the righteous one was. OK, I know; none righteous,no not one. Anyway, Earl is God's man and you are his woman; therefore God's will is prevailing. We who are praying seek first His righteousness and the kingdom and all these things, Earl's full recovery, will be added unto us. AMEN!
We love you in Christ,
Mark and Connie (the piano player and her driver)
Ok, ok, you need to take the pun to the next level and become Culture Warriors! You make sure those Doctors wash their hands and sterilize their stethoscopes!
Please tell Earl and Suzie that they continue in the prayers of the folks here at Trinity, Newberg. Thanks for the pics -- and the sense of humor.
