Australia with Hubs Day 9 - Warrnambool

Had a marvelous brekky with some Aussie's - great conversation before we headed out for a long day.

On Tower Hill Lookout

Gotta get some selfies - Tower Hill - a beautiful crested lava lake

Tower Hill

Sleeping Koala

Amazing Sandstone formations

Visitor Center at Tower Hill

Wild Emu

A little walk

We spotted one copper head snake - there is no anti-venom for these but it slithered away quickly

Lucy and Ethel just blabbing away, ignoring cars behind them

Drove to Port Fairy- caught tail end of a market.

Kangaroos give new meaning to roadkill - poor thing!
Beautiful Norfolk Pines - originating from New Zealand and are in upcountry Maui.
Tired..........but cute penguin statues.
Cute town of Warrnambool

We were very tired, and drove to this "magnificent waterfall." Underwhelmed.Oh well.

Ended the day at the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village - learning the history of "Shipwreck Coast". Amazing. People traveled in horrid conditions on ships for 3 months, only to crash and die right outside of Australia.
