After 45 minutes on phone with tech support for my phone, telling me the files are GONE, I tried one more thing - a software recovery thingy. No good....nada.
After I was in a deep deep sleep, hubs came in, showed me my phone, and said "Don't touch this, but is the one of your missing pictures?" YES YES YES!!!!
Oh praise God - I am elated beyond words.
Now to organize and post. YAY!!!!!
