A friend posted this today:
I've made many mistakes being a Mother...sometimes more than I'd like to admit. But, I will always be there for you, to hear you, to cheer you, to laugh or cry with you, to protect you with my life, sometimes tell you things you don't want to hear. I will love you forever with all my heart. Only God will ever love you more than I do!
Well, amen to this
AND THEN today my sweetie daughter Julianne found this poem for mothers day:
Mom, you're a wonderful mother,
so gentle, yet so strong,
the many ways you show you care
always make me feel like I belong.
You're patient when I'm foolish;
you give guidance when I ask.
It seems you can do anything,
the master of every task.
You're a dependable source of comfort,
you're my cushion when I fall
you help me in times of trouble,
you support me when I call.
I love you more than you can know,
you have my total respect
If God had given me a choice
you'd be the one that I'd select.
